Review of actions from last meeting
Dan remains not in a position to work on Subplot issue 22, which is fine, it can wait until he is able to help. We’re carrying this action
Daniel to file an issue to create issue templates based on https://third-bit.com/2021/01/18/how-to-write-a-memo/. We’re carrying this action.
Review of the iteration that has ended
We’ve been busy with life and work and other projects this iteration, again, so we didn’t get everything done for Subplot milestone 25.
We did achieve:
We failed to achieve everything else, and the issues have been carried over to the iteration.
Review of the repositories
There were no pending merge requests for subplot-web or subplot and also no other branches.
Issue review
We reviewed recently changed issues and updated them based on discussion.
Current goal
Our current goal is to get Subplot the software and project into such a shape that we feel confident that we can ask a few people to give it a proper try. This requires for Subplot to have releases that are easy to install, tolerably easy to use, and to have at least some rudimentary documentation aimed at beginners.
Plan for next iteration
We created Subplot milestone 26 for the iteration starting now and ending in two weeks on 2021-04-24.
We picked the following issues to work on for Lars:
- Subplot issue 175 - should be a quick tweak to an existing feature
- Subplot issue 174 - q quick bug fix
- Subplot issue 171 - should be a fairly quick fix
- Subplot issue 169 - should be easy, but might take an hour
- Subplot issue 137 - should be easy and quick
- Subplot issue 127 - should be easy, shouldn’t take long
- Subplot issue 116 - should be easy, shouldn’t take long
- Subplot issue 108 - hopefully easy: add a way for caller of ./check to specify Subplot binary to use
For Daniel:
- Subplot issue 173 - some progress has been made, and this is important for the current goal, or we can’t use tables in subplots
- Subplot issue 161 - should be straight forward
- Subplot issue 116 - a substantial amount of work, in case Daniel is inspired
Up for grabs if anyone has time:
- Subplot issue 22 - PlantUML jar and java locations should be configurable
- depends on Dan’s availability.
What do we need to persuade others?
Nothing new came up. We’re making progress, though.
